1964 Yoneya, Mechanical Playful Animal Swing In Original Box
Outstanding near mint tin litho "Mechanical Playful Animal Swing" complete with original box. Also includes original counter-weight flag with brass finished cap. Similar to earlier pre-1964 Yoneya animal toys this includes a moving pup and moving chimp. Depending on the position of the swing, the arms of each critter move back and forth. Simultaneously the bodies move up and down from their seats. The mechanical arm with flag attached to the motor starts the swing rocking, but it's the counterweight which keeps it moving for nearly 30 seconds. The box cover was illustrated with a colorful, yet extremely odd cartoon-style image of the actual toy. The manufacturer's trademark logo was printed in the lower right corner.
